A traditional attractive wooden board swing with profiled edges, made for the nostalgic.
This beautiful board swing is for indoors or out. Skilfully crafted from FSC approved and naturally durable timber.
The timeless natural design makes it an enduring classic you can be proud to hand on to future generations.
All our swings are ethically made in New Zealand with a business model to support local rural communities.
Being made of solid wood your swing will have natural colour and grain variations.
The Solvej Traditional Board swing is suitable for children from approximately four years old and has a maximum weight of 90kg.
Before Purchasing; Please check hanging heights. This swing can be hung from up to a height of 3.3 metres
We use an extremely strong 10 mm high performance yachting braid. The Solvej Traditional Board swing has rounded corners to increase the safety for children playing in the vicinity of the swing in use. (Board swings are not as safe as swings made from softer materials. See our child swings). Stainless steel carbine hooks (eye-bolts not provided) make it very safe and easy to move the swing.

Do you have a physical store?
No we don’t, we are an online only store. But if you are wanting to see more of a product just let me know hello@acornandoak.co.nz and I can send you some close up videos, or answer any other questions you have.
