Delcious & Easy Banana Bread!

A 'fool-proof', less than 10 minute prep recipe that we love! Its on high rotation in our household for a quick and easy staple for snacks, lunchboxes and sometimes breakfast!

You can make this into bread or muffins what ever you prefer! Its literally a 1 bowl wonder, that freezes really well also.

Its an easy recipe to do with a little kitchen helper, they can pour & mix the ingredients without anything going pear shape!



1/2 Cup of Honey

1/3 Cup of Olive Oil

2 Eggs

1/4 Cup of Milk 

2-3 Mashed, Ripe Bananas

1 Teaspoon of Baking Soda

1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract

1 + 3/4 Cup of Flour

Optional Additions: Mixed Berries, Chocolate


1. Preheat oven to BAKE on 170 degrees celsius 

2. Grab a large bowl and add the HONEY + OLIVE OIL. Give them a whisk together with a fork and then add the EGGS and continue to combine.

3. Mash the BANANAS with a fork and add to the bowl, then add the MILK and combine.

(If you are adding berries or chocolate, add in with your bananas)

4. Next, add in the VANILLA EXTRACT + BAKING SODA to the bowl and combine.

5. Lastly, add in the FLOUR and stir until its all combined.

6. Pour your bread mix into a greased loaf tin. (Or muffin tins)

7. Bake for approx 50 minutes (or until sticking a fork in middle of the bread comes out clean)

Muffins will take 12-15 minutes, keep an eye on them. 

8. Transfer to a wire rack to cool and serve with a good lashing of butter! (no judgement please on the butter ratio pictures below.. hehe)

This freezes really well too, its a great to pull out snack for lunchboxes!
